Prateek Dutta Roy is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and has a postgraduate Diploma in Business Management.
He started his career with Steel Authority of India Ltd at Rourkela Steel Plant, worked with Blue Star Ltd and is currently working with Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Heading MEP Design for Health, Public Space & Airports -SBG, (Buildings & Factories IC).
Prateek has over 3 decades of rich experience in large HVAC system design across various application segments including managing overall MEP Design Function. He has handled major and landmark projects in Heath, Airports, Commercial Buildings, Public Space and Industrial applications. He is a member of ISHRAE and ASHRAE. He has been the past President and Regional Director of ISHRAE Kolkata chapter and served in many National level committees of ISHRAE & ASHRAE. Currently he is a BOG member for ASHRAE – Chennai Chapter
He is a regular speaker for various Seminars and Programs for Institute of Engineers, CII, ICC, Rotary Clubs, ISHRAE, ASHRAE and various Technical Institutions. His area of interest includes HVAC system design, Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings.
