S Vikash Ranjan is the CEO and Founder of Pledge4earth, solutions provider in Carbon mitigation, Carbon Market, Energy and Sustainability in Buildings, MSMEs, and Industry sector.
Previously, he has worked as Project Head, Climate Smart Buildings in GIZ, supported Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Bureau of Energy Efficiency in Policy & Standards, New and Innovative Construction technologies, Thermal comfort in Residential buildings and Climate Change.
Under his leadership, several initiatives like Residential Building Code, Residential Building Rating System, Building Material Directory, Replicable Model Design were completed.
With more than 30 years of experience in the field of Policy framework regulation, Energy Efficiency, Climate Change, Management, Engineering and Process consultancy, his extensive work in Energy Efficiency and Climate change in India and Southeast Asian countries in Industries and Building Sector have been thoroughly recognised.
In his earlier endeavour with Ministry of Power, he was mainly involved in the implementation of National Mission on Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE), a component of National Action Plan for Climate Change (NAPCC).
Under his guidance, the flagship programme on Industrial Energy Efficiency, Perform Achieve and Trade (PAT) scheme for Manufacturing Industries, Railways, Distribution Companies, Building and Power sectors have been successfully developed. He is a member of several Working groups set up by different Ministries and Associations in India and Abroad.
