Ameya holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay, a Master of Business Law from the National Law School of India, and an eMDP in Advanced Business Management from IIM Kozhikode.
Ameya seamlessly blends insights from different domains to create strategic perspectives on project finance, market entry, business growth, operational excellence, and asset monetisation. He has worked on both sides of the table, serving as an advisor and in implementation within the industry.
He brings expertise from multiple sectors, including real estate, energy-intensive manufacturing, energy production, finance, sports and entertainment, sustainability, and simulation software.
Ameya previously served as AVP of Business Strategy at Wadhawan Group, where he helped develop business lines in retail, hospitality, renewable energy, and sports & entertainment.
Before joining Kirtane & Pandit Climate Consulting, Ameya led IES India, where he played a crucial role in transforming and expanding IES’s operations in India, introducing new digital twin solutions to the West Asian and Southeast Asian markets.
At KPCC, Ameya is the Managing Partner for ESG advisory, covering areas such as reporting, decarbonization, climate risk, sustainable finance, and sustainability markets. He is passionate about leveraging technology and financial tools to bring forth the value-creating aspects of sustainability.
