Anjali is a passionate sustainability leader with over a decade of experience driving ESG and climate action across diverse sectors. Starting her career as a project planner, she transitioned into sustainability to bring purposeful change—believing that even small steps can make a big difference.
Anjali has worked with leading organisations including Sterling & Wilson, Godrej, Welspun, and AU Small Finance Bank, and currently leading sustainability at BPTP Ltd. As DGM sustainability.
She has led the implementation of key sustainability and ESG frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, DJSI, GRESB, Sustainalytics, IFRS, and TCFD, and strongly advocates for a top-down approach and greater awareness to embed sustainability effectively within organisations.
She plays a key role in driving green building strategies from the early design stage, aligning business objectives with environmental goals and ensuring compliance with global standards. Her efforts have led to significant recognition and improved ESG performance in the companies she has worked with.
Anjali holds a Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communication Engineering, is an IGBC Accredited Professional, and earned her Master’s in Energy Management & Climate Action from CII – Thapar University, and multiple UN courses on climate change and sustainable Finance, which deepened her expertise in sustainable development and climate strategy.
Beyond her professional life, Anjali is deeply committed to women empowerment, girl child education, and promoting kindness toward all living beings. She believes in leading with empathy, creating positive impact, and building a greener future for all.
