Dr. Hariharan Chandrashekar is a pioneering Indian ecological economist and urban sustainability leader, best known for founding the citizen‑driven WOW Action Forum and the multi‑city WOW Partner City Network across South Asia, Africa and the Americas. He mentors green enterprise and entrepreneurship through SAANSS and Foundation Green, and guides industry and academic sustainability programmes, including deep‑green Net Zero Water and Energy peer reviews. Over a 30‑year career, he has founded and led ventures such as ZED Homes, Biodiversity Conservation India Ltd. and the AltTech Foundation, driving zero‑energy and low‑carbon building strategies.
