Gyanesh is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the fields of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability Management. He holds certifications as a Sustainability Professional from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and as a Carbon Footprint Lead Implementer.
In addition to being a mechanical engineer, he is also a qualified Industrial Safety and Environmental professional. Over his inspiring 22-year career, he has applied his EHS and Sustainability expertise across various industries including Plastic & Chemical Manufacturing, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, Printing, Publishing, and Electronic & Digital Media.
Gyanesh has gained global experience and exposure in establishing EHS and Sustainability standards and fostering a culture of sustainability at the corporate level. He has been associated with renowned organizations such as ITC, Walmart, and LG. Currently, he leads the EHS and Sustainability division at the Times Group (BCCL), based in their corporate office in New Delhi.
His contributions to EHS, Sustainability, and ESG fields have been recognized at various forums including the World Safety Forum, United Nations Global Compact Network India (UNGCNI), Apex India Foundation, and Greentech Foundation. He is also a member of the ASSOCHAM National Council for Environment and Climate Change (CECC).
