Poorva Ujwal Keskar is an ESG Strategist, NABET accredited environment impact assessment coordinator Sectors-38, 39 Category-B and Functional Expert for Landuse and Land Cover Category A (AC MoM date – Dec 5,2022) educator, and author of numerous articles on the practice of environment design and environment management.
She started her architecture practice in 1889, where she worked on residential and Industrial projects.
Now she is the director at VK:e Environmental, a consultancy firm started in 2009 with a mandate to consult on ESG strategies, Environment Impact Assessment, energy conservation and green buildings.
Poorya was honored by Maharashtra Energy Development Agency by an award for her work in building energy efficiency in 2022 Poorva’s company was also honored with the HUDCO Award for the project Green Space Realtors in 2012 and AESA award for SKF Bearings in 2016. She was recognized by Indian Institute of Architects for her contribution to profession in 2014 and Green Champion Award by Indian Green Building Council International Conference in 2019. She was given the Real Women Award for her contribution to Green Buildings in 2021.
She has delivered expert lectures at Mejan Arc University, Sweden, IIT Powai, CEPT Ahmedabad, Rachana Sansad Mumbai, and many architecture colleges in Maharashtra, on architecture, energy conservation in buildings and environment planning.
Recently Dr. Poorva Keskar was nominated as an expert on the High Level Monitoring Committee for development control in the eco sensitive zone of Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. She also serves as a member on various boards and committees at national and local level in the areas of energy efficient buildings, Green buildings and sustainable utian planning. Poorva is an empaneled expert with Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power,
has served as a member of GRIHA technical advisory committee and is the Co-Chair of IGBC

With a view to contribute towards urban sustainable development, she along with like minded professionals formed an NGO “Sustainability Initatives”. The NGO works with a three-pronged objective of advocacy, awareness and training and research in the field of urban sustainability.
