Mr. Sachin Maheshwari, after completing his graduation in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance), began his professional journey in 2002 within the Corporate Strategic Planning Group at Escorts Limited. In 2003, he joined his family business and has led a great growth journey for his Company alongwith his father, late Mr Anil Maheshwari, who has been a renowned technocrat.
Mr. Sachin currently serves as the Managing Director of the Caryaire Group of Companies, which specializes in a wide range of products related to Air Distribution, Air Management, Air Purification, Fire & Sound Control, and Ventilation. The group also diversified in manufacturing of Aluminium Extrusion and Lithium-Ion batteries. Since 2004, he has also been the Managing Director of Nicotra India Pvt Ltd, a worldwide renowned fan manufacturing company, under a Joint venture with M/s Regal Rexnord
Caryaire has earned a reputation for pioneering various products and technologies in the fields of Air Distribution, Air Handling, and Ventilation, setting industry benchmarks. The group has received numerous recognitions and holds 2 patents.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Sachin has been an active leader in the professional community. He served as the National President of the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) during 2016-17, becoming the youngest person to hold this position. His tenure was marked by significant initiatives that brought him widespread recognition and awards. He has contributed to industry knowledge by writing articles and being part of the team that authored ISHRAE’s Fan Engineering Fundamentals.
Continuing his leadership in the industry, Mr. Sachin now takes over as National President of the Refrigeration & Airconditioning Trades Association (RATA). Despite his brief association with RATA, he has already initiated several key projects, including conceptualizing the Forums, developing a guidebook on the Decarbonization journey for HVACR MSMEs, and introducing the RATA MSME Awards.
