Nabeel has a background of mechanical engineering with a specialization in energy systems and renewable energy. He has over 17 years of working experience in projects dealing with building services design and sustainability works.
Nabeel had started the MEP consulting in 2017 and takes care of the entire business of MEP. He works as a consultant in Environmental Design Solutions Pvt Ltd. He leads the engineers working on Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning, Electrical and ELV, Renewable energy system design, Net zero energy building design, and public health engineering. He had lead the design of multiple large HVAC, Electrical project.
Nabeel has also worked closely with government agencies, manufacturers, and consumer organizations in developing energy efficiency standards and labelling (S&L) program for India. He has worked closely with the Ministry of Power, Government of India in the development performance ratings for appliances. He has worked in the development performance ratings (BEE Star Rating) for Solar Photovoltaics Panels, Solar hot water , Chillers, VRV/VRF, air coolers, packaged AC.
He was also worked with Ministry of Power, Government of India and was in the core team which developed the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC Code) for India.
Nabeel had worked closely with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) on chiller retrofit program which aims in helping the existing end users of chillers to replace their chiller with a more efficient new chiller system with or without capital investments, secondly for EESL he has also worked on RAISE (Retrofit of Air-conditioning to improve Indoor Air Quality for Safety and Efficiency) for healthier and greener buildings. This initiative was aimed at making workplaces healthier and greener. These retrofits focused on enhanced indoor air quality (IAQ), thermal comfort, and energy efficiency (EE) in the air conditioning system. He led the team for the packaged air conditioners technical specification design and performance enhancement for EESL in which high efficiency packaged air conditioners were made affordable to end users.
